No contact with Locauto

After book car. Serivice pick up was good. Model car anather than from order. On the way problem with battery and not easy contact in english with assistance. Finally fixed. Exoensive daily cost full insurance if compare with other countries. After drop off car didnt received any raport. No contact with company and they try charge my credit card some different amount.

Hi, I rented a car from Napoli RA: NAP2874 for 7 days and dropped it off at Bari after I spoke to the office about the fee for dropping at a different location. I have been charged for that and I fully understand why . The problem is that I have another charge on my card that I believe is the fuel because I made sure the tank was full but the fuel indicator was showing that is not full . I tried twice to fill in the tank as you can see on the receipts attached below.

Hello!

It is the 4th email i am sending to your offices with no response.We have contacted my lawyer and we prepare a dispute against your office for not permitted charges.

I have received an email that a penalty has been occurred durong my rental in Summer. I have asked you to send me the copy of penalty and rest details but no response from you.

You got 40 from my bank account and now i receive same email that you will again get 40.

We have prepared an official dispute that you have already goten the 40 and if you try to get more money we will reach in court.

It is unacceptable.

Most unacceptable is that we have sent you 4 email and you do not reply. These are also facts that my lawyer will use against your office.

We need a reply within the next 24hours otherwise an official dispute will follow to your office as also to Italian chamber of commerce that by luck I cooperate with.

We rented the car from Locauto in summer time reservation number BG12112 and when we were giving back the car everything was fine, no issues. And after this time locauto was taking our money from our credit card in day 06.12. 2019 twice € 48.80. So all amount which was taken is €97.76. We don’t understand what happened?! Deposit money (500 euro) no reimbursement

I rented a car from 13.07.2019 to 15.07.2019 in Napoli Airport. They said that 500 Euro is blocked for deposit and on 15.07.2019 when I have returned back the car, they explained that full money as 500 is unblocked. When I get back to my country, the bank explained that money is not blocked and unblocked. It's already taken and not delivered back. I explained that via e-mail to customer service of Locauto. But they insist that they have unblocked the money. But the thing is the money was never blocked, it was taken.

The worst mistake I have done while travelling in Italy; We received a car with multiple damages at night with no documentation of nicks and scratches as they saved all the damage details in their iPad supposedly, after leaving the car in Naples we received an email with charges o es $400 Euros for the damages caused. The car was deliver exactly as received. The issue here is that we trusted the fact that this company is affiliated with Enterprise and we have done multiple rentals in different countries, but this behaviour is clear sign of taking advantage of their clients and a bad business practise. We have sent a formal request to get a full investigation with their head office. Businesses like these shouldn’t be allowed to operate in any country. Bad for Enterprise to be affiliated to Locauto. Be aware, don’t do go there!

Car rental in Summer; Totally unserious enterprise!

I rented a car from Locauto this Summer. On Pick-up we noted 11 damages which were fixed in the contract. On Drop-off, only 6 were registered (???), so we paid our agreed invoice and expected the deal to be closed. One week late we got an invoice per email and our Credit card debited by some 250 € for damages to the car. Complaining at Rentalcar, where we had booked the car on internet, we got this amount refunded. No Word from Locauto. Now, 2 weeks ago, we got again an invoice for administrative fees on behalf of a police request for a traffic fine. I don't contest this, although I am not aware of any misconduct, and ask for a proof for this request. No answer, but now I got debited TWICE for this admin fees. Trying to get in contact with Locauto is not possible, the link on their website for the customer service is not functioning. I can only recommend to everybody to avoid this entreprise, whose practices are close to being criminal.

Avoid locautorent they are crooks

Locautorent Brindisi illegally charged my card 4 months after I rented a car at Brindisi Airport claiming I had a traffic infringement which I have never been informed of by them or the Italian authorities. I still have no idea what traffic law I infringed.

They charged my card $84 nz before they even informed me of the supposed infringement and have not replied to any emails or their online complaints form I wish I had checked them out online before I hired the car.

I have had to block my card to avoid ongoing so called administration charges. I guess this and other charges are how they make their money especiall knowing people have left the country.

This company is worse than my country. I did not receive any answer or any feed back. I cant say more comments. They are stupid. Its very strange that a company from Italy, a nice country, proceed like this. During my Italy time, unfortunatily a got tree injuries driving in roads or in cities. I will not pay the injuries because I lost a lot of Money with this company. They will pay the injuries, I think. I am sure that I am not proceeding in right way, but I think that is a form to punish the company Well. In october I will be in German. Make sure that this company will not be consulted.

Avoid at any cost. They will harrass you into buying insurance. Any hairline scratch will cost you $$$$. Six months after the rental they charged me $57 claiming admin fee for a traffic ticket that never happened. AVOID! Poor customer service. Unethical practices.

This 48.80 Euro administration charge is outrageous and excessive. I haven t even seen or verify the merit of any traffic violation. The way you nickel and dime customers is a business turn off. This will be the last time you will see any business from me or my associates. A formal complain will be filed with National Rent a car in the USA.

Worst experience At first seems to be a serious company, but they look to take more money from their customers. We had a problem with the front window, a small stone fell on the glass. Driving on the paid highway, from a big car felt a stone and made a small crack. It was not our fault, it's a major force that could never be avoided. Blame is the road and big trucks that go with high-speed. At the place of surrender, the employees presented us a document with the amount of the indemnity. When we arrived home, we had a great surprise, the extra 100 euros was extracited from our card. Real scam. It is not possible to treat your clients like this. Shame on you and your services. Do not use their services ever.
